Cryptocurrencies have grown in popularity in recent years, but due to their anonymity and decentralization, they have also become a convenient tool for economic crime. Understanding the positive and negative incentives for the use of cryptocurrencies in economic crime is crucial for the development of effective policies and strategies to combat their illegal use, so this topic is relevant for the scientific community.
