Як наслідок, з’явилася галузь обліку екологічного менеджменту, включаючи витрати та матеріальні потоки для пом’якшення екологічних ризиків і ретельного вивчення складної взаємодії між компаніями та навколишнім середовищем. Recognizing that companies are major contributors to environmental challenges, conventional management accounting practices have evolved. Companies have progressively incorporated environmental considerations into their strategic planning and project assessment procedures, implementing initiatives aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and minimizing waste.
