У зв’язку з цим українськими законодавцями ведеться постійна робота з приведення митного законодавства України у відповідності до глави 5 Угоди про асоціацію та додатка XV «Наближення митного законодавства». Не менш важливим інструментом для допомоги у повсякденній роботі українських законодавців у цьому напрямку є судова практика Суду Європейського Союзу. The signing of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU in 2014 was the main achievement in the direction of convergence of the national customs legislation of Ukraine with EU legislation. In this regard Ukrainian legislators are constantly working to bring the customs legislation of Ukraine in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Association Agreement and Annex XV "Approximation of Customs Legislation".
