The study of regional history in an academic format actually became a separate branch of regional studies. Knowledge of the specifics of the historical and cultural development of individual regions of Ukraine will allow a better understanding of the socio-political, socio-economic, state-building, ethno-cultural processes that took place on Ukrainian lands from ancient times to the present day.
