Під час застосування цієї норми виникла значна кількість суперечливих питань, зокрема щодо самого поняття показань з чужих слів та невизначеності інших можливих компонентів, що можуть входити до таких показань. In 2012, with the adoption of the Criminal Procedure Code, Art. 97, a new type of evidence was established as testimony from someone else's words, which is defined as a statement made in oral, written or other form, regarding a certain fact, which is based on the explanation of another person.
