Підсумовується, що газети залишаються ефективним і затребуваним форматом, виконуючи низку важливих суспільних функцій, розвиваючись як проєкти спеціалізовані, аналітичні, просвітницькі, формуючи свою віддану аудиторію. The author outlines the current functional characteristics of modern print media in Ukraine, taking into account the peculiarities of the current wartime period and global trends in the development of the media system. It is pointed out that in the frontline and de-occupied territories they are the only source of truthful information, ‘a symbol of unity, faith, and inspiration of Ukrainians to fight and win’. The article concludes that newspapers remain an effective and popular format, performing a number of important public functions, developing as specialised, analytical, and educational projects, and building their loyal audience. popup.nrat_date 2025-07-17 Close
