Digital technologies (social media, platform economy, big data, artificial intelligence, fintech, blockchain, Internet of Things) have undoubtedly changed the contours of the organization of modern society in general and the financial sector in particular. The general principles of EU law have always been distinguished by their ability to respond quickly to changes taking place in society, now they must confirm the effectiveness of managing technological change through legal mechanisms.
