На прикладі творів Нижанківського закцентовано на ролі сміхової культури та її значенні в людському існуванні. Вивчення гумору та іронії у творчості Богдана Нижанківського має важливе значення, оскільки це збагачує наше розуміння цього пласту культури як цікавого аспекту літературного дискурсу. The thesis examines the specifics of humor and irony in the works of Ukrainian writer Bohdan Nyzhankivskyi (based on the materials of his prose and poetic works). The attention is focused on the peculiarities of Galician-batyar humor, in particular its transcendental dimension, as well as the peculiarities of the author's style in the context of his emigration work. On the example of Nyzhankivsky's works, the author emphasizes the role of laughter culture and its importance in human existence.
