The traditional checkout process at retail outlets creates inconvenience for the retail customer due to the long waiting time in queues, which affects the level of satisfaction with the ser- vice and the corresponding receipt of revenue by the retailer. The business analysis approach used to work with the requirements engineering of this particular appli- cation includes four main stages: elicitation, analysis, specification, and verification & validation. Each stage contains an appropriate set of business analysis techniques to compile a comprehensive description of system requirements. As a result of this work, we received a complete set of requirements, which serves as the foundation and guidance for developers during the implementation phase of the Scan and Go application. The final product, implemented based on the outlined requirements, will be tested in the Saudi Arabian market, and according to the collected feedback, the following releases are planned to be implemented. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-09 Close
