Проаналізовано найдавніші джерела, які містять згадки про молитви предстоятеля у вечірньому богослужінні, євхологіон «Барберіні gr. 336» як найдавніше джерело, що містить молитви сучасної Вечірні, спроби реформування Вечірні з огляду на розміщення цих молитов. Запропоновано рекомендації змін у структурі сучасної Вечірні з метою сприйняття змісту вечірніх молитов вірними. The paper reveals the origin of evening prayers in the order of Vesper, their meaning, connection with bible texts and other elements of the office structure. The most ancient sources, that contain mentions about superior prayers in the evening office, euchology «Barberini gr. 336» as the most ancient source of the modern Vesper prayers, attempts of the reforming of Vesper from review of this prayers are analyzed.
