Необхідна також оперативність у виконанні логістичних операцій для забезпечення військових операцій та гуманітарної допомоги, та здатність швидко адаптуватися до змінних умов та потреб на фронті та в тилу. Також має бути максимізація використання матеріальних, фінансових та людських ресурсів для забезпечення потреб фронту та населення та досить важливим є налагодження ефективної системи комунікації для координації дій між всіма логістичними підрозділами і співпраці між різними логістичними підрозділами, військовими та цивільними структурами для оптимізації логістичних процесів.
