З’ясовано, що дезінформація має на меті ввести в оману, переконати аудиторію в достовірності представленої інформації та посіяти вагання. Обґрунтовано, що фейки є інструментом інформаційної війни проти українського народу, тому важливо вміти майбутнім журналістам виділяти їх серед іншої інформації та не поширювати через засоби масової інформації. У статті наведено способи протидії фейкам. The article defines the concept of "fake", provides its classification and methods of detection. It is found that disinformation is intended to mislead, convince the audience of the reliability of the information presented and sow hesitation. It is proved that fakes are an instrument of information warfare against the Ukrainian people, so it is important for future journalists to be able to distinguish them from other information and not to spread them through the media.
