Підкреслюється значення введеного Конквестом поняття "терор голодом", що вказує на цілеспрямованість радянських дій щодо українського селянства. Також розглянуто літературні прийоми, використані Робертом Конквестом, у контексті документального зображення подій Голодомору та проаналізовано їх значення. The harsh truth of life, highlighted by Robert Conquest in the work «Harvest of Sorrow», where the causes and consequences of the Holodomor and collectivization in the Soviet Union are revealed. Conquest's methodology is analyzed, which includes the use of archival documents and eyewitness accounts. The importance of the concept of "terror by Holodomor" introduced by the Conquest is emphasized, which indicates the purposefulness of Soviet actions towards the Ukrainian peasantry.
