Причиною цього є постмодерне нівелювання істини, що почалося з філософії та науки і з часом перейшло до сфери повсякденного життя та стало також проблемою етики. Відтак, постправда постає як кризова ситуація не лише у медіасфері, але й у всіх сферах суспільного життя, руйнуючи підвалини демократичного устрою. Theses explore the history of the concept of "post-truth". It aims to reveal the essence of the phenomenon and the main reasons for its occurrence. It is important to note that post-truth is not an era, but a situation. In addition, this is a crisis situation in which facts will lose to fakes. The postmodern leveling of truth is its cause. It began with philosophy and science and over time moved to the sphere of everyday life and became an ethical problem as well.
