In the thesis of the report, based on the generalization of the existing scientific work, the hypothesis that information hygiene is a tool for reducing the risks of spreading misinformation in the management of socio-economic projects is substantiated. Subordination of categories: "information hygiene", "risks", "disinformation" is outlined.
