The article examines identity issues and their impact on active choices in wartime. Research criteria and main types of identity. The features of the formation and specifics of the influence of Ukrainian identity on the active choice of Ukrainian citizens during the war are considered. References to monographic studies, scientific articles, documentary chronicles and sociological studies are used.
