Кузнеця Description As an essential component of strategic changes at the national economic level, the process of transformations in industries plays a vital role in creating a favourable environment for attracting investments, developing new technologies, and improving the population’s quality of life. This article aimed to determine the features of the formed industry structure of the national economy through an assessment of factors that influence the provision of strategic changes in the sectors of the national economy to determine the direction of strengthening the innovation component of industry transformations. The economic aspects of strategic changes at the national economy level are identified and analysed, considering the features of the country’s innovation, investment, and environmental policies, the productivity of innovations themselves, and the involvement of businesses in the innovation process. An analysis of the level of development of innovation factors that influence the provision of strategic changes in the sectors of the national economy of the studied countries is presented. The assessment of factors influencing the provision of strategic changes in the branches of the national economy (16 factors) was carried out using the construction of an economic and mathematical model. The results obtained showed a direct dependence of strategic changes in national economies on innovation factors. The exception were the factors of state environmental policy and education financing. In the economy of Ukraine, a decrease in the activity of innovation factors was revealed, except for the production potential of business. Focusing on this system of factors will contribute to a comprehensive understanding of modern requirements and management capabilities for ensuring strategic changes in sectors of the national economy through mechanisms of innovative development. popup.nrat_date 2026-02-09 Close
