Основна увага приділяється аналізу теоретичних підходів до розуміння військової кар’єри, дослідженню гендерних особливостей мотивації та розробці практичних рекомендацій щодо оптимізації професійної орієнтації військовослужбовців. На основі емпіричного дослідження, проведеного за участю 55 військовослужбовців, виявлено суттєві гендерні відмінності в структурі мотивації: у чоловіків переважає внутрішня мотивація та орієнтація на результат, тоді як у жінок домінує зовнішня позитивна мотивація та альтруїстична спрямованість. Розроблено комплексні рекомендації щодо вдосконалення системи професійної орієнтації, які враховують специфіку мотивації військовослужбовців різної статі. Практична значимість роботи полягає у можливості застосування результатів дослідження для оптимізації процесів професійної орієнтації та психологічного супроводу військовослужбовців. This research examines the motivational factors influencing military career choices among male and female service members. The main focus is on analyzing theoretical approaches to understanding military careers, investigating gender-specific aspects of motivation, and developing practical recommendations for optimizing professional orientation of military personnel. Based on an empirical study involving 55 service members, significant gender differences in motivation structure were identified: men predominantly show internal motivation and result orientation, while women demonstrate dominant external positive motivation and altruistic orientation. Comprehensive recommendations have been developed for improving the professional orientation system, taking into account the specific motivational characteristics of military personnel of different genders.
