Necessity of the use of eco-auditing on a base of economic damage assessment in Ukraine is elaborated. Differences between eco-auditing and financial auditing are analyzed. Definition of “eco-auditing” is given. The main structural elements of the methodics of eco-auditing conduct of industrial enterprise are elaborated. Іноземні експерименти в розвитку екологічного аудиту в різних фірмах і компаніях аналізується в даній статті. Розроблено необхідність використання екологічного аудиту на базі економічної оцінки збитків в Україні. Проаналізовано відмінності між екологічним аудитом та фінансовим аудитом.
