Histologic investigation and electronic microscopy were performed. Severe thermal injury in the shock period causes the complex of non-specific reactions organism, which develope in plethora, disturbed vascular permeability, hypercoagulation, migration of alveolar macrophages into alveoli. The toxemic phase is characterized by intense proliferation of lung stroma cellular elements as well as by progressive general pulmonary alterations of bronchopulmonary nature. The phase of septicotoxemy is characterized by further progression of inflammatory changes in all layers of the bronchial wall.
