Банківська система є важливою складовою товарно-грошових відносин будь-якої країни. За допомогою ефективного функціонування банківського сектору забезпечується збереженість коштів фізичних та юридичних осіб, розвивається сфера кредитування, здійснюються повномасштабні платіжні операції, надаються різносторонні платіжні послуги, залучаються депозити, формується стабільність фінансової системи держави. В умовах військового стану у 2022-2023 рр. банки України стикнулися з низкою проблем, серед яких загроза втрати ліквідності, кардинальна зміна регуляторних обмежень, відтік клієнтів, загострення кіберризиків через атаки та блекаути. Проте банківський сектор вистояв та сьогодні є стабільним і забезпечує функціонування грошово-кредитних відносин держави. Гроші є основною банківських операцій, їх «кровообігом» та одним із об`єктів управління. Важливу роль у процесі управління грошовими потоками та їх оптимізацією, прийнятті управлінських рішень щодо готівкового обігу належить обліково-інформаційному забезпеченню, яке включає підсистеми обліку, аналізу та внутрішнього аудиту. Саме це і обумовлює актуальність теми кваліфікаційної роботи. Дана робота присвячена обґрунтуванню теоретичних, методичних та практичних аспектів обліку і внутрішнього аудиту касових операцій банку і розробці шляхів їх удосконалення. Relevance of the qualification work topic. The banking system is an important component of any country's commodity and monetary relations. The effective functioning of the banking sector ensures the safety of individuals' and legal entities' funds, develops the lending sector, conducts full-scale payment transactions, provides comprehensive payment services, attracts deposits, and builds the stability of the country's financial system. In the context of martial law in 2022-2023, Ukrainian banks faced a number of challenges, including the threat of liquidity loss, a dramatic change in regulatory restrictions, customer outflow, and increased cyber risks due to attacks and blackouts. Nevertheless, the banking sector has survived and is now stable and ensures the functioning of the state's monetary relations. Money is the basis of banking operations, their "blood circulation" and one of the objects of management. An important role in the process of managing cash flows and their optimization, making management decisions on cash circulation belongs to accounting and information support, which includes subsystems of accounting, analysis and internal audit. This is what determines the relevance of the topic of the qualification work.
