Метою дослідження є виявлення лінгвістичних особливостей наукової фантастики та визначення специфіки перекладу науково-фантастичних фільмів на основі серіалу «Stranger Things».Теоретико-методологічні засади дослідження базуються на працях відомих вчених у галузі перекладу, філології та літературознавства, а саме Н. Вільховченко, Н. Глінки, Г. Деркач, Т. Катиш, Є. Корнєлаєвої, О. Селіванової, Г. Чумак, Г. Шайнер які присвяти неабияку увагу дослідженню лінгвістичних особливостей наукової фантастики та способам їхнього відтворення при перекладі у науково-фантастичних творах. Отримані результати: переклад науково-фантастичних фільмів є складним завданням для фахівців, оскільки кожен науково-фантастичний твір містить нову термінологію, що представляє наслідки технологічного прогресу, а також не оминає увагою висвітлення філософських та соціокультурних питань. При цьому особливої уваги потребують екстралінгвістичні чинники під час перекладу науково-фантастичного фільму, які здатні допомогти передати емоційний стан головних героїв й показати специфічні культурні реалії. Під час дослідження особливостей перекладу американського серіалу “Stranger Things” було виявлено, що переклад діалогів вимагає урахування особливостей культурних відмінностей для точної передачі емоцій та змісту. Діалоги головних героїв серіалу сповнені гострих жартів, фразових дієслів, жаргонізмів. Вивчення перекладу науково-фантастичної термінології у серіалі “Stranger Things” показало, що перекладачі успішно впоралися з викликом передачі специфічних термінів та назв унікальних персонажів. EN : The paper deals with the functional specifics of science fiction terms in modern Englisg audiovisual texts and their translation, the case study is the first, the second and the third seasons of the American TV series “Stranger Things” and its Ukrainian translation. The object of the work is peculiarities of the English science fiction films translation into Ukrainian, in particular the series “Stranger Things”. The main aim of the paper is the analysis of features and outline of translation problems of science fiction films (based on the analysis of the series "Stranger Things"). The aim determined the accomplishment of such objectives as: - define science fiction as a genre that is important for modern translation studies due to its specific terminology and cultural and philosophical aspects;- investigate the specifics of the translation of science fiction terminology;- investigate translational transformations in the reproduction of science fiction films;- find out the peculiarities of the translation of dialogues in science fiction films, in particular in the scenes of communication between the main characters; - translate science fiction terminology, adapting it for the Ukrainian audience. During the investigation of the translation peculiarities of the American series "Stranger Things", it was found out that the translation of dialogues requires taking into account the peculiarities of cultural differences in order to convey accurately emotions and content. The dialogues of the main characters of the series are full of sharp jokes, phrasal verbs, jargonisms. A study of the translation of science fiction terminology in the series "Stranger Things" showed that the translators successfully coped with the challenge of conveying specific terms and names of unique characters. popup.nrat_date 2025-11-10 Close
