The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the improvement of the technological process of machining the crosspiece of the brake system of the electric forklift EP60-120N(H) and the service purpose of the part. The accuracy parameters of the part were analysed. The constructional materials for manufacturing are characterised. The type of production is determined. Testing for manufacturability was carried out. The existing manufacturing processes are analysed. The route for surface treatment of the component part of the assembly is developed.
