Вона відноситься до актуальних проблем екології та економіки і в Україні, оскільки при переході до ринкової економіки руйнування старих інститутів регулювання на десятиліття відсунули проблему ресурсозбереження. Сьогоднішня орієнтація на модернізацію об'єктивно потребує розробки нових інструментів державного регулювання ресурсозбереження, які мають вбудуватися в єдиний механізм вітчизняної економіки. Дана робота полягає у розвитку теоретичних положень щодо формування політики ресурсозбереження в країнах на сучасному етапі. The experience of economically developed countries shows that the policy of resource conservation should be a priority of the state. It refers to the urgent problems of ecology and economy in Ukraine as well, since during the transition to a market economy, the destruction of old regulatory institutions postponed the problem of resource conservation for decades. Today's focus on modernization objectively requires the development of new tools for state regulation of resource conservation, which should be integrated into a single mechanism of the domestic economy.
