Запас деревини в лісах оцінюється в межах 2102 млн. м3 . Загальна середня зміна запасу сягає 35млн. м3 . Середня щорічна зміна запасу на 1 га у лісах Держлісагентства дорівнює 4 м3 і коливається від 5 м3 в Карпатах до 2,5 м 3 м у Степовій зоні. Не зважаючи на те, що відбувається поступове збільшення запасу, питання вирощення високопродуктивних лісів на теренах нашої країни стоїть наразі доволі гостро. В зв’язку з цим актуальним завданням лісівництва є перехід до цільового створення та формування найбільш продуктивних та стійких насаджень, які б в максимальному ступені використовували можливості лісорослинних умов. Наукова новизна: - уперше: ˗ встановлено таксаційні показники кожного класу віку модальних сосняків з сосни звичайної та сосни кримської ДП «Куп’янське ЛГ»; ˗ проведено порівняльний аналіз таксаційних показників модальних сосняків ДП «Куп’янське ЛГ»; ˗ встановлено сучасний рівень використання лісорослинного потенціалу сосняками ДП «Куп’янське ЛГ». ˗ визначено недобір деревини при сучасному рівні ведення лісового господарства у сосняках ДП «Куп’янське ЛГ» Достовірність результатів і висновків базується на значному обсязі експериментального матеріалу, зібраного й опрацьованого сучасними методами з використанням стандартних комп’ютерних програм і порівняно з даними інших вітчизняних і зарубіжних дослідників. Urgency of work. The results of the comparative analysis of the state and productivity of pine forests of the State Enterprise "Kupyansk LH", as well as the definition of the current level of use of their forestry potential will allow to determine the main directions of management, as well as ways to increase their productivity, improve the quality and composition of the pine forests of the Kharkiv region, namely, Kupyansk LH ".
