Optimum conditions for formation of complexes were determined by the spectrophotometry method. We examined the physicochemical properties of polyethyleneimines by pH-potentiometric titration and obtained stability constants for their complexes with the metals under study. Based on these protonation and stability constants we calculated the degree of bonding of the metals with the polymer in solution, which correlated with maximum possible coefficient of retention of metallic ions on the membrane in the complexation-ultrafiltration method. We maded comparison of coefficients of retention for the uranium calculated on the base of the stability constants and experimental data with use polyethyleneimine in optimum condition of treatment, it was shown the full correspondence to experimental data.
