It is proved, that the Ostrog Academy at the end of 16th - early 17th was a successor of the cultural traditions of Kievan Rus and the Byzantine heritage, on the other hand, the result of Occidental (Renaissance and Reformation) trends. The Academy, as a part of Ostrog cultural center, had a cultural and synthetic nature, combining Western and Eastern elements. Academy's activities facilitated to the establishment of early modern Ukrainian culture - partially oriented education system to the West, literature, comparative linguistics, translation studies, philosophy and theology. Faculty and graduates of the Academy contributed to the development of important cultural institutions of the Ukrainian end 16th - early 17th : Lviv, Kyiv, Lutsk fraternities, Derman cultural center, Maniava skit,Mezhyhirsk monastery. The results are mainly contained in the encyclopedia "Ostrog Academy 16th-17th Century." (Ostrog, 2010). Some aspects of the research presented in the monographs Mytsko I. "Ivan Fyodorov: Life in exile" (Ostrog, 2008), V. Ulyanovsky "Nice people for all time: Vasyl Konstantin of. Ostrog (Ostrog, 2009)", P. Rychkova "Architectural and artistic heritage of Ostrog princes (Ostrog, 2010)", as well as publication of "Description of Prince Janusz Ostrozhski possessions in south-eastern Volhynia in 1615 (Ostrog, 2009)". Published tutorials:"History of the Ostrog Academy "(Ostrog, 2010) "History of the Ostrog Academy: lectures (Ostrog, 2010). On the basis of research together with the First National channel was prepared and shown on the television documentary "The Lost World of Ostrozki". P. Kraliuk and O. Havruk published a popular scientific monograph Princes Ostroz'ki (Kharkiv, 2010), P. Kraliuk wrote artistic and documentary novels "Relikvija" (Ostrog, 2010) and "Shestydnev or Corona house Ostrozki (Kyiv, 2010)".
