Aim - to obtain reliable and representative information about the circulation and drug resistance of M. tuberculosis in Ukraine among patients with new cases and cases of retreatment with using modern phenotypic and molecular-genotypic methods of research. Methods - genetic, bacteriological, statistical. The high level of circulation of MDR-strains is set among patients with new cases - 24.1 % and among patients with relapses -58.1 %. The high level of resistance was educed to antituberculosis drugs of 1-th line, first of all izonizolid - 37.3 % and rifamicin - 25.1 %. It was set that for patients with newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis by means of VNTR-ETR of method of genotyping on ETR lockes were educed strains of MTB of Beijing family (52.5 %) (strains with a profile 42435 - 42,5 % made from 360 analyzed isolates). It is set that on SNP-genetic profiles studied strains of MBT the structure of population is presented the of investigational strains of MBT by the strains of MBT with prevailing of strains of the first fundamental genetic group.
