The purpose of the study is to develop scientifically sound methods for dielectric media parameters selection that may be nonlinear. Scientific novelty and practical value of the obtained results is elaboration for the first time of the physical models of nonlinear shock wave electromagnetic waveformers, where arrays of multilayer ceramic capacitors for surface mounting are used as nonlinear media. For the first time, undocumented nonlinear parameters of such capacitors were determined at high voltage application. The methods of mathematical modeling of electrophysical processes at electromagnetic waves propagation in inhomogeneous ferro-magnetic dielectrics with nonlinear parameters have been further developed. The developed methods of mathematical and physical modeling are used for preparation of lecture courses for NTU "KPI" students.
