The aim of the work is to introduce new methods of data analysis of observations of ELF-VLF electromagnetic radiation obtained at the Ukrainian Antarctic Station (UAS) "Akademik Vernadsky", which include parameters of the lower ionosphere and powerful lightning discharges. Research methods - single-site methods of lightning location based on the results of registration of two horizontal magnetic and vertical electric components of the ELF and VLF atmospherics. The diurnal variations of the natural errors of direction finding of the ELF-bursts were investigated, which revealed the influence of the ellipticity of the ELF wave polarization associated with gyrotropy of the lower ionosphere at night and with the day-night heterogeneity. It is shown that "tweek-atmospherics" with several harmonics, which allow obtaining the estimates of the electron density in the lower ionosphere, are observed from lightning at long distances up to 6-7 thousand kilometers from the observation point. A higher probability of receiving such tweeks from the eastern sector is shown. Studies have shown the possibility of monitoring the parameters of high-power lightning discharges with increased accuracy due to combined ELF-VLF measurements on UAS, as well as determining the parameters of the lower ionosphere based on observations of VLF-atmospherics.
