Purpose of work – defining the main stages of the development of palaeocryogenesis in the Pleistocene of Ukraine, its influence on the engineering and geological properties of sediments, the formation of an erosion network and other applied aspects of nature management. Research methods include field – lithostratigraphic, malacological, geomorphological, remote sensing; analysis, synthesis, generalization, etc. Results and novelty: first: the Pleistocene palaeocryogenic structures of different types and ages have been comprehensively studied, their classification has been developed, the role of palaeocryogenesis in the formation of engineering and geological properties of sediments and in the preservation and redeposition of Palaeolithic cultural horizons has been determined; improved: the author’s stratigraphic scheme of the structure of the Pleistocene loess-palaeosol sequences; got further development: field expeditionary research on studying sections of periglacial loess-palaeosol sequences with the palaeocryogenic structures developed within it; use of a quadcopter to study the palaeocryogenesis of Volhyn-Podillia. Implementation of the results of SRW. The results of research under the project are implemented in the activities of PrJSC «Geotechnical Institute», S.Subbotin Institute of Geophysics of NAS of Ukraine, in the educational process of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, which allow them to be used in the education of bachelor, master and graduate students in Geography and Earth Sciences. Four master's theses and one candidate's dissertation were defended, and two more PhDs were recommended for defense. Two monographs, 1 training manual, 14 articles in professional publications of Ukraine, 6 articles (Scopus/WoS), 14 conference proceedings and abstracts were published.
