A method of comprehensive treatment and prevention of dental caries in children with JRA has been developed using modern techniques for the treatment of initial dental caries (microinvasive technique), correction of mineral metabolism and vitamin balance, restoration of acid-alkaline balance and normalization of the hygienic condition of the oral cavity. On the experimental model of iatrogenic compression-toxic injury of the inferior alveolar nerve, a greater neuroprotective effect was proven during therapy with drugs based on amantadine hydrochloride. Determination of NSE and S 100 protein levels should be used for early diagnosis of inferior alveolar nerve damage with filling materials. The developed computer programs "DentaNorm" and "BjoJarNorm" make it possible to minimize the occurrence of diagnostic errors and complexity with a number of various anomalies of the tooth-jaw system. Research results are implemented in the practical activities of city and regional clinical dental polyclinics in Vinnytsia and Poltava. The results of the research are included in the educational process of the departments of the National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsia, I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Poltava State Medical University and Uzhhorod National University.
