The purpose of the research is to develop methods and solve a number of new problems of fracture mechanics for composite bodies made of piezoactive and piezopassive elements of a crystalline and quasi-crystalline structure under the action of mechanical load, electric and magnetic fields. Research methods – Exact analytical methods based on models of fracture mechanics and the apparatus of the theory functions of a complex variable, as well as the numerical method of finite elements. Theoretical and practical results - new methods of studying single and collinear cracks between two piezoelectric or quasi-crystalline materials under mixed boundary conditions on their faces have been developed and implemented. The essence of the approach consists in reducing the given problem to a combined problem of Dirichlet-Riemann linear conjugation and constructing an analytical solution of this problem. The behavior of physical and mechanical fields when collinear cracks converge is analyzed. Analytical methods were used, as well as a finite element approach, which made it possible to significantly expand the limits of changing geometric parameters and laws of state for the considered composite materials. The obtained results will be used both in the mechanics of failure of piezoelectric, piezoelectromagnetic and quasi-crystalline materials, and may be useful in related fields, in particular in the physics of solids, physics of dielectrics and condensed systems, etc. Product Description popup.authors Adluckiy Victor Ya.
