Object of study: economic and biological traits of collection and introduced accessions of berry, nut, and ornamental crops. Subject of study: collection and introduced accessions in the plantations of the Pomology Experimental Station. Aim of the work: to expand, conserve, and effectively utilize the genetic diversity of berry, nut, and ornamental crops; to introduce new accessions and evaluate their genetic value; to identify sources and donors of economically valuable traits; and to provide parent material for institutions for further scientific and practical use. During 2021-2025, 24 valuable accessions were submitted for registration to the National Center for Plant Genetic Resources of Ukraine (NCPGRU), including five in 2025. Registration certificates were obtained for a trait-based collection of redcurrant (Ribes rubrum L.) (No. 330) and a special collection of common gooseberry (Ribes uva-crispa L.) based on disease resistance (No. 344). The introduction database was supplemented with 16 new accessions (six in 2025). A total of 319 accessions were studied comprehensively, 89 of which are new. To restore the viability of the berry, nut, and ornamental crop collection, the re-establishment of the following accessions was carried out: 85 of raspberry, 70 of gooseberry, 155 of blackcurrant, 45 of redcurrant, 5 of guelder-rose, 70 of hazelnut, and 5 accessions of lilac. In 2025, based on the research conducted, recommendations were developed for assessing the suitability of blackcurrant and gooseberry varieties for mechanized harvesting.
