The development of preparatory convenient synthetic protocols for novel condensed 4-thioxothiazolidine-2-one based derivatives generation namely thiazolo[4,5-b]pyridines and thiazolo[4,3-b]quinozolines. Further structural functionalization of the core scaffolds would be realized in their various positions. The next stage of the project would include the pharmacological screening of the synthesized compounds as their anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities evaluation aimed at lead compounds identification. Ligand-based and receptor-based techniques would be implemented into the process of synthesized compounds virtual screening. As a result of in silico design strategy application the virtual combinatorial library of condensed 4-thioxothiazolidine-2-one based derivatives would be generated.
