Theoretical substantiation of polycondensation processes in solutions of polyoxometalate anions in the presence of cations of d- and f-metals as a basis for purposeful synthesis of crystalline salts with these cations, development of conditions for "green" synthesis of new "pure" inorganic polyoxometalates and organo-inorganic hybrids, study of the crystal structure of polyoxometalates with cations of d- and f-metals, elucidation of the periodicity of changes in the characteristics of Ln-POM salts, search for useful properties (magnetic, catalytic) of synthesized salts. Determination of substitution limits and phase stability regions of solid solutions in lanthanide orthoarsenate and ortovanadate systems; supplementing the state diagrams of the above systems and replenishing the created 3d-database of isomorphous substitutions.
