The current state of protective forest plantations of Ukraine is analyzed using the example of experimental farms of the National Academy of Sciences. Prospects for ecological certification of protective forest plantations of Ukraine were determined, as well as recommendations and practical guidelines for monitoring and effective ecological management of forest ecosystems were provided. The results of the research are important for improving the ecological functions of protective forest plantations in the conditions of anthropogenic load and are necessary for the creation of sustainable balanced agrolandscapes.
