The purpose of the work is to publish collections of documents from the personal funds of the UVAN in the USA and VUAN. As a result, it is planned to publish collections of journalistic articles and archival materials by S. Drahomanov, Correspondence of figures of Ukrainian political emigration regarding the activities of the Union for the Liberation of Ukraine (1914–1918), archeographic works by O. Hrushevskyi, and a collection of documents by N. Polonska-Vasylenko "Settlement of Southern Ukraine in the XVIII century. (1734–1796)".
