- development of a methodology for choosing optimal approaches aimed at reducing consumption of fossil energy resources in industry and communal and household sector of Ukrainian cities with simultaneous implementation of measures to improve ecological situation in cities by partially converting waste into electrical and thermal energy with a combination of centralized and decentralized generation;
- implementation of an approach to energy supply and energy consumption as a single complex with creation of economically justified mechanisms of mutual positive influence of generation and use of various types of energy;
- development and implementation of methods of production, preparation and use of fuel and energy resources, the basis of which are renewable resources, household and industrial waste.
