The purpose of the work is to obtain new fundamental knowledge about the interaction of electromagnetic and acoustic waves with the environment: the surface of the earth, sea and objects on them; atmospheric boundary layer and various meteorological formations; ionosphere and its heterogeneities, meteor traces; marine environment, its bottom; complex natural and artificial reflectors; various biological objects; development of new and improvement of existing methods for solving inverse problems for electromagnetic and acoustic wave processes of remote sensing; development and improvement of radiophysical methods for solving problems of communication, radar, power engineering, ecology and medicine. creation of methods and techniques for introducing corrections that reduce the influence of propagation conditions on the assessment of coordinates by receivers of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), which will increase their accuracy and expand functionality and competitiveness.
