The R&D is devoted to the study of the semantics of professional discourses based on the material of leading European languages (English, German, French, and Spanish). The purpose of this study is to: identify and study modern discursive semantics in the scientific and academic sphere, highlighting rhetorical structures and multimodal representation of foreign language professional discourses, as well as taking into account the context and conventions of communication; apply the latest quantitative and qualitative methods of corpus, discursive, pragmatic, and semiotic analysis of the language of science and education; and implement the obtained results in the creation of educational and methodological literature for postgraduate students of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and institutions of higher education.
