Foreign studies emphasise the need to integrate the goals of teacher training with their professional development needs and the particular importance of pedagogical internships. Thus, the system of teacher training and professional development in the framework of the implementation of the reform of general secondary education ‘New Ukrainian School’ in the context of war and post-war development of Ukraine requires substantiation and implementation of innovative approaches that can take into account both the destructive impact of the Russian-Ukrainian war and the need to implement changes that meet modern global educational trends. The object of research is teacher training and professional development in Ukraine. The subject of the study is presented by innovative approaches to teacher training and professional development in the context of the New Ukrainian School reform, taking into account the challenges of war and post-war reconstruction. The purpose of the study is to substantiate and adapt innovative approaches to teacher training and professional development in the context of the implementation of the New Ukrainian School reform, taking into account the challenges of war and post-war reconstruction. The multifaceted and interdisciplinary nature of the problem under study requires the definition of a research strategy, namely methodological approaches to the implementation of the scientific idea.
