The purpose of the study is to provide a legal description of the qualitative state of fulfilment of Ukraine's European integration obligations in the field of copyright and related rights, based on the analysis of the EU copyright and related rights law, legislation of the Member States, Ukrainian legislation and legal doctrine; to identify the differences in the legal regulation of relations in the field of copyright and related rights under Ukrainian and European Union law and to assess them; to find out the level and state of incorporation into Ukrainian legislation of the copyright and related rights protection provisions and exceptions thereto adopted by the European Union after the conclusion of the Association Agreement; to develop proposals for further harmonisation of Ukrainian copyright and related rights legislation based on the experience of the Member States.
