The project is aimed at developing the scientific and technological bases for advanced processes of sono-catalytic oxidation of dyes with heteroatoms (N/P/S), as organic pollutants of aquatic environments, using graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) doped with Oxygen, Sulfur or Phosphorus, g-C3N4 modified with polar hydroxyl groups, or nanocomposites “spinel/g-C3N4”, “transition metal sulfide nanodots/g-C3N4” as catalysts for the decomposition of peroxyreagents (peroxymonosulfates/peracetic acid/sodium percarbonate/periodates).
