popup.description1
The aim of the research is to study the quality indicators of maize and the fatty acid composition of sunflower and rapeseed using molecular methods and gas chromatography; to improve the requirements for the quality of sunflower seeds in terms of the mass fraction of oleic acid in oil. The use of molecular markers in determining the main quality indicators of oilseeds and cereals as an additional method of assessing varieties.
The application and improvement of modern methods of plant variety assessment is one of the most actual tasks in the system of qualification examination. Due to the absence of classification standards for oleic acid in rapeseed and the subsequent inclusion of varieties in the high oleic purpose of use, there is a need to study potential varieties that can meet this purpose of use requirements with a clear gradation of the indicator.
The investigation of a collection of common knowledge varieties by gas chromatographic and molecular methods will allow to determine the content of oleic acid and create clear classification standards for the assessment of rapeseed and sunflower varieties.
An integrated approach of the research on the assessment of grain crops indicators will increase the efficiency of new varieties studying.
