Karazin Kharkiv National University popup.description1 The project is focused on the development and implementation of a model of teacher training and professional development in Ukraine based on innovative approaches to increase their readiness to implement the New Ukrainian School reform and overcome the consequences of the war. The project envisages analysing the national legal framework and current practices, international experience, and substantiating innovative organisational, managerial, content, methodological, and information technology approaches to teacher education and professional development. The project includes diagnostics of teachers' readiness to implement innovative approaches, as well as the development of new educational components, training and professional development programmes to develop the professional competencies necessary to implement the New Ukrainian School reform and overcome the negative effects of the war on education. The project plans to prepare amendments to the legal framework, develop and implement a one-year dual certification programme to train subject teachers on the basis of previously obtained non-teaching higher education, in particular, for the retraining and reintegration of war veterans. popup.nrat_date 2025-03-23 Close
