The aim of the work is to create chemical means of protecting metals from corrosion - "green" inhibitors to increase the corrosion resistance of protective paint and varnish and polymer materials for long-term protection of metals from corrosion. The scientific concept of the development will be based on the selection of a solvent of moderate polarity, analysis of the composition of the extractive part of agro-industrial plant waste of Ukraine, the establishment of the mechanism, adsorption behavior and physico-chemical processes of interaction of natural organic compounds of different polarity in the composition of paint and varnish and
polymer coatings with a metal surface.
