The purpose of this work is to develop methodological recommendations for enhancing the system of specialized training for canine unit specialists, taking into account contemporary requirements for their professional activities and international best practices, based on an analysis of regulatory legal acts and specialized literature.
In accordance with the goal, the following research tasks were identified:
1. To find out the status of regulatory and methodological support for special training, the content, forms, and methods of training of specialists of canine units.
2. To identify factors that influence the quality of special training of canine unit specialists and their compliance with the needs of state border protection agencies.
3. To substantiate and develop proposals for improving regulatory and legal support, optimizing training programs, and introducing innovative technologies into the system of special training for specialists in canine units
