The aim is to experimentally substantiate the selection and use of mitoprotectors with different mechanisms of action (HSP70 expression modulators, mitochondrial antioxidants, electron carriers in the respiratory chain, TSPO translocator protein modulators, neuropeptides) in the treatment of traumatic brain injury combined with acubarotrauma, based on experimental data revealing their role in mitochondrial dysfunction, which initiates energy deficiency, oxidative stress, neuroapoptosis, and cognitive-monistic disorders.
