To research selected texts by contemporary playwrights created during wartime, identify various formats, and analyze their transformation under the influence of military actions, traumatic experience, and shifts in consciousness, depending on the chosen identity and one's role in the war. The research focuses on drama related to the war not only thematically but also other genres that have been influenced by the war, such as historical, mystical, fantasy, etc. The work is based on texts by Ukrainian authors, as well as several foreign ones, integrated into the common context of military confrontation. To investigate changes at different stages of the war: hybrid, full-scale, and global. Based on the research, to develop a model for the transformation of contemporary drama formats under the influence of the state of war and the processes of imperial aggression and decolonization.
